Patricia McKenna
Patricia McKenna is an Irish visual artist whose interdisciplinary practice explores the dynamic relationship between social and natural environments. Working across sculpture, video, sound, drawing, photography, and large-scale site-specific installation, she examines how landscapes are constructed, inhabited, and interpreted, shaping both cultural identity and personal narrative.
McKenna holds an MA in Visual Arts Practice from IADT and a BA in Fine Art from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. She also studied archaeology at University College Dublin, completing four years of field and laboratory work.
Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Venice Biennale and Kalmar Konstmuseum, and widely across Ireland. She is currently developing a book of her work with Gandon Press and contributing to forthcoming exhibitions in the USA and Ireland.
